About I Like Pancakes

“I Like Pancakes” is the blog of two fire mages named Saxsy and Jana, and a death knight tank named Traxy, and some various lower level alts, all of whom are played by the same person so it’s really just a one person blog.

I will post about what I feel like when I feel like posting it. Thus far, that’s included updates on Saxsy, Jana and Traxy’s progress within the game, updates on my lower level alts (Nadi being the prime example), comments on the social/psychological aspects of the game, and a few lame attempts at humor.

I post primarily because it is my outlet to discuss whatever it is I am thinking about World of Warcraft and things related to it. If you find some value in the things I post, you are welcome to them. I love comments, too. But I make no claim that any of this is of any value to anyone.

The blog is named  ”I Like Pancakes” because the phrase was one of the several oddball things my characters will automatically say (via a now non-functional addon called RPHelper 2) when someone in the party loots some gold. This almost always prompts people to respond in one of two ways: 1) “Mmm, pancakes”, or 2) “I like waffles.”

I find myself occasionally saying “I Like Pancakes” in trade chat to attempt to throw off a particularly irksome conversation having little to do with trade.

If you’ve come here looking for something, I suggest you start with either my Favorites page or the Shadowmourne Retrospective. The former is a sampling of blog posts I’ve liked, other people have told me they’ve liked, or ones that I’ve worked really hard on and hope people like.  The latter is a good sampling of blog posts that were written randomly and then collected as a retrospective and thus provide a more natural feel for what this site is all about.
